ENG 803 -Senior Java Software Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in server side Java programming. In particular, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in multi-threaded/concurrent programming, scalability, and networking. The candidate will be a member of the core engineering team and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing functionality in the Scalent VOE (Virtualization Operating Environment).
The candidate must have at least ten years programming experience and have knowledge of the following areas:
- Java 1.5 and 1.6 Standard Edition
- C, C++
- Linux/Unix
- Knowledge of network programming (TCP/IP, sockets, etc).
- Multi threaded/concurrent programming
- Excellent design and analytical skills
