Scalent V/OE Software Recognized by SearchDataCenter.com in CMDB and Provisioning Category
PALO ALTO, Calif -February 11 , 2008 -- Scalent Systems, the leading provider of server infrastructure repurposing software for large data centers, today announced that the Scalent Systems Virtual Operating Environment (V/OE) 2.5 was judged as one of the three best CMDB (Configuration Management DataBase) and Provisioning products released in 2007, in TechTarget’s SearchDataCenter.com 2007 “Products of the Year” awards.
Scalent V/OE software is designed to enable data centers to efficiently handle a multitude of change management-related issues including changing which servers to run, what software is running on those servers, and how those servers are connected to the network and storage devices.
